Surah Al-Qiyamah

Saheeh International

I swear by the Day of Resurrection.

Saheeh International

And I swear by the reproaching soul [to the certainty of resurrection].

Saheeh International

Does man think that We will not assemble his bones.

Saheeh International

Yes. [We are] Able [even] to proportion his fingertips.

Saheeh International

But man desires to continue in sin.

Saheeh International

He asks, "When is the Day of Resurrection.

Saheeh International

So when vision is dazzled.

Saheeh International

And the moon darkens.

Saheeh International

And the sun and the moon are joined.

Saheeh International

Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape.

Saheeh International

No! There is no refuge.

Saheeh International

To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence.

Saheeh International

Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back.

Saheeh International

Rather, man, against himself, will be a witness.

Saheeh International

Even if he presents his excuses.

Saheeh International

Move not your tongue with it, [O Muhammad], to hasten with recitation of the Qur'an.

Saheeh International

Indeed, upon Us is its collection [in your heart] and [to make possible] its recitation.

Saheeh International

So when We have recited it [through Gabriel], then follow its recitation.

Saheeh International

Then upon Us is its clarification [to you].

Saheeh International

No! But you love the immediate.

Saheeh International

And leave the Hereafter.

Saheeh International

[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant.

Saheeh International

Looking at their Lord.

Saheeh International

And [some] faces, that Day, will be contorted.

Saheeh International

Expecting that there will be done to them [something] backbreaking.

Saheeh International

No! When the soul has reached the collar bones.

Saheeh International

And it is said, "Who will cure [him].

Saheeh International

And the dying one is certain that it is the [time of] separation.

Saheeh International

And the leg is wound about the leg.

Saheeh International

To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession.

Saheeh International

And the disbeliever had not believed, nor had he prayed.

Saheeh International

But [instead], he denied and turned away.

Saheeh International

And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride].

Saheeh International

Woe to you, and woe.

Saheeh International

Then woe to you, and woe.

Saheeh International

Does man think that he will be left neglected.

Saheeh International

Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted.

Saheeh International

Then he was a clinging clot, and [Allah] created [his form] and proportioned [him].

Saheeh International

And made of him two mates, the male and the female.

Saheeh International

Is not that [Creator] Able to give life to the dead.
