86:1
وَٱلسَّمَآءِوَٱلطَّارِقِ١
Saheeh International
By the sky and the night comer.
Surah At-Tariq
Ayah-17, Makkah
86:2
وَمَآأَدۡرَىٰكَمَاٱلطَّارِقُ٢
Saheeh International
And what can make you know what is the night comer.
86:3
ٱلنَّجۡمُٱلثَّاقِبُ٣
Saheeh International
It is the piercing star.
86:4
إِنكُلُّنَفۡسٖلَّمَّاعَلَيۡهَاحَافِظٞ٤
Saheeh International
There is no soul but that it has over it a protector.
86:5
فَلۡيَنظُرِٱلۡإِنسَٰنُمِمَّخُلِقَ٥
Saheeh International
So let man observe from what he was created.
86:6
خُلِقَمِنمَّآءٖدَافِقٖ٦
Saheeh International
He was created from a fluid, ejected.
86:7
يَخۡرُجُمِنۢبَيۡنِٱلصُّلۡبِوَٱلتَّرَآئِبِ٧
Saheeh International
Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs.
86:8
إِنَّهُۥعَلَىٰرَجۡعِهِۦلَقَادِرٞ٨
Saheeh International
Indeed, Allah, to return him [to life], is Able.
86:9
يَوۡمَتُبۡلَىٱلسَّرَآئِرُ٩
Saheeh International
The Day when secrets will be put on trial.
86:10
فَمَالَهُۥمِنقُوَّةٖوَلَانَاصِرٖ١٠
Saheeh International
Then man will have no power or any helper.
86:11
وَٱلسَّمَآءِذَاتِٱلرَّجۡعِ١١
Saheeh International
By the sky which returns [rain].
86:12
وَٱلۡأَرۡضِذَاتِٱلصَّدۡعِ١٢
Saheeh International
And [by] the earth which cracks open.
86:13
إِنَّهُۥلَقَوۡلٞفَصۡلٞ١٣
Saheeh International
Indeed, the Qur'an is a decisive statement.
86:14
وَمَاهُوَبِٱلۡهَزۡلِ١٤
Saheeh International
And it is not amusement.
86:15
إِنَّهُمۡيَكِيدُونَكَيۡدٗا١٥
Saheeh International
Indeed, they are planning a plan.
86:16
وَأَكِيدُكَيۡدٗا١٦
Saheeh International
But I am planning a plan.
86:17
فَمَهِّلِٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَأَمۡهِلۡهُمۡرُوَيۡدَۢا١٧
Saheeh International
So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile.
