Surah Al-Mursalat

Ayah-50, Makkah

77:1

وَٱلۡمُرۡسَلَٰتِعُرۡفٗا١

Saheeh International

By those [winds] sent forth in gusts.

77:2

فَٱلۡعَٰصِفَٰتِعَصۡفٗا٢

Saheeh International

And the winds that blow violently.

77:3

وَٱلنَّـٰشِرَٰتِنَشۡرٗا٣

Saheeh International

And [by] the winds that spread [clouds].

77:4

فَٱلۡفَٰرِقَٰتِفَرۡقٗا٤

Saheeh International

And those [angels] who bring criterion.

77:5

فَٱلۡمُلۡقِيَٰتِذِكۡرًا٥

Saheeh International

And those [angels] who deliver a message.

77:6

عُذۡرًاأَوۡنُذۡرًا٦

Saheeh International

As justification or warning.

77:7

إِنَّمَاتُوعَدُونَلَوَٰقِعٞ٧

Saheeh International

Indeed, what you are promised is to occur.

77:8

فَإِذَاٱلنُّجُومُطُمِسَتۡ٨

Saheeh International

So when the stars are obliterated.

77:9

وَإِذَاٱلسَّمَآءُفُرِجَتۡ٩

Saheeh International

And when the heaven is opened.

77:10

وَإِذَاٱلۡجِبَالُنُسِفَتۡ١٠

Saheeh International

And when the mountains are blown away.

77:11

وَإِذَاٱلرُّسُلُأُقِّتَتۡ١١

Saheeh International

And when the messengers' time has come.

77:12

لِأَيِّيَوۡمٍأُجِّلَتۡ١٢

Saheeh International

For what Day was it postponed.

77:13

لِيَوۡمِٱلۡفَصۡلِ١٣

Saheeh International

For the Day of Judgement.

77:14

وَمَآأَدۡرَىٰكَمَايَوۡمُٱلۡفَصۡلِ١٤

Saheeh International

And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement.

77:15

وَيۡلٞيَوۡمَئِذٖلِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ١٥

Saheeh International

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

77:16

أَلَمۡنُهۡلِكِٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ١٦

Saheeh International

Did We not destroy the former peoples.

77:17

ثُمَّنُتۡبِعُهُمُٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ١٧

Saheeh International

Then We will follow them with the later ones.

77:18

كَذَٰلِكَنَفۡعَلُبِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ١٨

Saheeh International

Thus do We deal with the criminals.

77:19

وَيۡلٞيَوۡمَئِذٖلِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ١٩

Saheeh International

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

77:20

أَلَمۡنَخۡلُقكُّممِّنمَّآءٖمَّهِينٖ٢٠

Saheeh International

Did We not create you from a liquid disdained.

77:21

فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُفِيقَرَارٖمَّكِينٍ٢١

Saheeh International

And We placed it in a firm lodging.

77:22

إِلَىٰقَدَرٖمَّعۡلُومٖ٢٢

Saheeh International

For a known extent.

77:23

فَقَدَرۡنَافَنِعۡمَٱلۡقَٰدِرُونَ٢٣

Saheeh International

And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine.

77:24

وَيۡلٞيَوۡمَئِذٖلِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ٢٤

Saheeh International

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

77:25

أَلَمۡنَجۡعَلِٱلۡأَرۡضَكِفَاتًا٢٥

Saheeh International

Have We not made the earth a container.

77:26

أَحۡيَآءٗوَأَمۡوَٰتٗا٢٦

Saheeh International

Of the living and the dead.

77:27

وَجَعَلۡنَافِيهَارَوَٰسِيَشَٰمِخَٰتٖوَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰكُممَّآءٗفُرَاتٗا٢٧

Saheeh International

And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water.

77:28

وَيۡلٞيَوۡمَئِذٖلِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ٢٨

Saheeh International

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

77:29

ٱنطَلِقُوٓاْإِلَىٰمَاكُنتُمبِهِۦتُكَذِّبُونَ٢٩

Saheeh International

[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny.

77:30

ٱنطَلِقُوٓاْإِلَىٰظِلّٖذِيثَلَٰثِشُعَبٖ٣٠

Saheeh International

Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns.

77:31

لَّاظَلِيلٖوَلَايُغۡنِيمِنَٱللَّهَبِ٣١

Saheeh International

[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame.

77:32

إِنَّهَاتَرۡمِيبِشَرَرٖكَٱلۡقَصۡرِ٣٢

Saheeh International

Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress.

77:33

كَأَنَّهُۥجِمَٰلَتٞصُفۡرٞ٣٣

Saheeh International

As if they were yellowish [black] camels.

77:34

وَيۡلٞيَوۡمَئِذٖلِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ٣٤

Saheeh International

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

77:35

هَٰذَايَوۡمُلَايَنطِقُونَ٣٥

Saheeh International

This is a Day they will not speak.

77:36

وَلَايُؤۡذَنُلَهُمۡفَيَعۡتَذِرُونَ٣٦

Saheeh International

Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse.

77:37

وَيۡلٞيَوۡمَئِذٖلِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ٣٧

Saheeh International

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

77:38

هَٰذَايَوۡمُٱلۡفَصۡلِۖجَمَعۡنَٰكُمۡوَٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ٣٨

Saheeh International

This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples.

77:39

فَإِنكَانَلَكُمۡكَيۡدٞفَكِيدُونِ٣٩

Saheeh International

So if you have a plan, then plan against Me.

77:40

وَيۡلٞيَوۡمَئِذٖلِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ٤٠

Saheeh International

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

77:41

إِنَّٱلۡمُتَّقِينَفِيظِلَٰلٖوَعُيُونٖ٤١

Saheeh International

Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs.

77:42

وَفَوَٰكِهَمِمَّايَشۡتَهُونَ٤٢

Saheeh International

And fruits from whatever they desire.

77:43

كُلُواْوَٱشۡرَبُواْهَنِيٓـَٔۢابِمَاكُنتُمۡتَعۡمَلُونَ٤٣

Saheeh International

[Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do.

77:44

إِنَّاكَذَٰلِكَنَجۡزِيٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ٤٤

Saheeh International

Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.

77:45

وَيۡلٞيَوۡمَئِذٖلِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ٤٥

Saheeh International

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

77:46

كُلُواْوَتَمَتَّعُواْقَلِيلًاإِنَّكُممُّجۡرِمُونَ٤٦

Saheeh International

[O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals.

77:47

وَيۡلٞيَوۡمَئِذٖلِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ٤٧

Saheeh International

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

77:48

وَإِذَاقِيلَلَهُمُٱرۡكَعُواْلَايَرۡكَعُونَ٤٨

Saheeh International

And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow.

77:49

وَيۡلٞيَوۡمَئِذٖلِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ٤٩

Saheeh International

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

77:50

فَبِأَيِّحَدِيثِۭبَعۡدَهُۥيُؤۡمِنُونَ٥٠

Saheeh International

Then in what statement after the Qur'an will they believe.
