Surah Al-Ghashiyah

Saheeh International

Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event].

Saheeh International

[Some] faces, that Day, will be humbled.

Saheeh International

Working [hard] and exhausted.

Saheeh International

They will [enter to] burn in an intensely hot Fire.

Saheeh International

They will be given drink from a boiling spring.

Saheeh International

For them there will be no food except from a poisonous, thorny plant.

Saheeh International

Which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger.

Saheeh International

[Other] faces, that Day, will show pleasure.

Saheeh International

With their effort [they are] satisfied.

Saheeh International

In an elevated garden.

Saheeh International

Wherein they will hear no unsuitable speech.

Saheeh International

Within it is a flowing spring.

Saheeh International

Within it are couches raised high.

Saheeh International

And cups put in place.

Saheeh International

And cushions lined up.

Saheeh International

And carpets spread around.

Saheeh International

Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created.

Saheeh International

And at the sky - how it is raised.

Saheeh International

And at the mountains - how they are erected.

Saheeh International

And at the earth - how it is spread out.

Saheeh International

So remind, [O Muhammad]; you are only a reminder.

Saheeh International

You are not over them a controller.

Saheeh International

However, he who turns away and disbelieves.

Saheeh International

Then Allah will punish him with the greatest punishment.

Saheeh International

Indeed, to Us is their return.

Saheeh International

Then indeed, upon Us is their account.
